This a temporary role on an on-call basis in the event you are required to provide assistance with data analysis regarding domestic and international events as they arise. An immediate start is required.
As a data analyst, your main responsibilities will be:
- Develop relevant, timely and accurate Information Management products, processes, systems and tools are used in a coordinated manner for operational decision making.
- Manipulate large and complex datasets, define data flows and coordinate data from different sources and stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge and skills with data collection, visualisation and analysis, and the ability to create information products based on findings and analysis.
- Support with other associated tasks that may arise on an ad-hoc basis.
- Provide one-to-one capacity building support to staff members, to help them understand the above processes.
To be successful for this rare and exciting opportunity, it would be desirable for you to have experience in the following software:
- Microsoft PowerBI (essential)
- Kobo Toolbox (strongly desired)
- QGIS (strongly desired)
- ESRI
- Tableau
- FME
- Python
- R
- STATA
- SPSS
