This is a rare opportunity for a long-term temporary assignment in a prominent State Government department located in Fortitude Valley. Our client is looking for someone full time for an immediate start.
The purpose of this role is to enable continuation of the key activities and deliverables within the procurement team for this departments Delivery Services Branch initiatives, to ensure successful and timely delivery of projects.
The main responsibilities of this role include:
- Contribute to the development, implementation and review of procurement systems, strategies, policies and processes
- End to end procurement processes
- Running RFQ and Tender processes
- Contract Drafting and Negotiation
- Draft, negotiate and execute Government Information Technology Contracting conditions for the supply of ICT goods and services
To be successful, you will have the following skills and experience:
- ICT Procurement knowledge and experience
- Demonstrated experience with complex ICT Procurement projects
- Experience in developing and coordinating RFI/FRQ/ITO.
- Demonstrated experience in a QLD Government Procurement environment
- Proficiency in project management procedures and practices
- Demonstrated ability to develop QITC contract documentation and associated communication documents OR substantial experience in GITC.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Class C licence desirable, but not required
