It’s all about getting out there, hands-on, visible, and approachable, being involved and helping make the change you want to see.

With five geographically spread small businesses within the Townsville area covering – Townsville, Mackay, Bowen, Whitsundays & Upper Ross, you need to be in the field regularly, to forge great relationships with the people of each community; determine what it is they need to keep these communities active and engaged and ensure that the focus is firmly fixed on customer satisfaction.
Having made sure that commercial efficiencies are maximised and each business unit is running smoothly, you will then be well positioned to drive growth through new strategic partnerships.

Clearly, relationships are critical to this role.

As is a deep and passionate appreciation of the impact that these units have on communities and particularly the young ones growing up there. Each of these business units has the potential to grow and improve its reach within the strategic plan.

And it will be your responsibility – and pleasure – to see that it happens. So, being able to talk to diverse audiences; connect and build collaborative partnerships; lead, negotiate, mentor, coach and enthuse others need to be among the many attributes you bring to the role.

Supporting these will be your business acumen and operational experience – perhaps as a former franchisee or business owner? Financial management, P & L, excellent communications and project management at community and government levels with a passion for providing opportunities to disadvantaged individuals and communities will all add luster to your application.
